Proserpine Junior Cricketers Run Out for WBBL
Ten young players from the Proserpine Junior Cricket were invited to travel to Mackay to be a part of the Women’s Big Bash League Adelaide Strikers vs Sydney Sixers game on Saturday, 15th November. This was one of 6 WBBL games that had been played at Great Barrier Reef Arena over a 5 day period.
The children were excited to run out onto the Great Barrier Reef Arena in front of hundreds of spectators. An Adelaide Striker player greeted them with smiles, words of encouragement, and an autographed cap. Not only could our Mini Pitbulls see the event unfold on the big screen in front of them but it was broadcast live on Seven Two, Fox Sports, ABC and Kayo as well.
